Porsche Type
1965 Porsche 911

Description
Debuted at the Frankfurt International Auto Show in September, 1963, the air-cooled, six-cylinder Porsche 911, shaped the direction of the company for the next 60 years. With its simple design, sharp handling, and smooth silhouette, the first generation 911 set an engineering standard still emulated today.
This beautiful example, first delivered to an enthusiast in Monticello, New York, features the following factory options: Blaupunkt (Frankfort) radio and antenna, rare electric sunroof, and driver-side rearview mirror.
The glistening Black exterior, with its distinctive ‘911’ model script on the rear deck, shows patina reflective of its restoration some years ago. The Black vinyl interior with black and white houndstooth inset front seats (not original) are in excellent condition. Original seats will come with the car. The original 901 wood steering wheel, wood dash trim, and five working VDO gauges contribute to its vintage authenticity. An under dash fire extinguisher was added for safety. A new headliner and fresh carpeting are planned in the near future.
The original 2.0l engine (902824) and 901 transmission (223951) have been rebuilt and are freshly serviced. All necessary maintenance is completed. New shocks and new BF Goodrich tires (205/60 R165) provide an amazing ride.
