This beautiful, Black over Black, Numbers-Matching, 1996 Porsche Coupe represents the best of the 993 model line. With the VarioRam intake system (introduced in 1996) and RUF exhaust, this 993 provides 22 horsepower more than the 1995 model, and a menacing growl more pleasing than the factory Motor Sound Package. Flared fenders over staggered wheels, and sensuous silhouette make it a favorite of Porsche enthusiasts.
The glistening Black exterior is complemented by European Corner Lights, and new 18” RUF wheels with MICHELIN® PILOT® SPORT tires. Green painted calipers contribute to the awesome RUF look. Both front and rear bumpers have been refinished and the front rubber Bumperettes removed to provide a smooth, clean appearance.
The Black interior of this 993 is in excellent condition. It features RUF-logo’d floor mats, aluminum pedals, and an aftermarket, short shift kit, with a unique shift knob crafted of lumber from a 1,000-year-old ship wreck. The knob’s naturally-aged dark hue results from years on the ocean bottom.
Its flat-six, air-cooled 3.6l engine produces 282 HP at 6,300 RPM, and 250 lbs./ft torque at 5,250 RPM. Power is directed to the rear wheels through its 6-speed manual transmission. An upgraded suspension with Bilstein PS10 Adjustable Shocks provides sure-footed handling. This 993 underwent a complete inspection and received a complete tune up. All belts were replaced, and the master cylinder was replaced.
